U.S. automaker General Motors stated it plans to open a production center for its providers at its Arlington assembly plant located in Texas, including more than 850 brand-new tasks.
The new jobs are in addition to the 7,000 jobs and $1 billion in U.S. financial investments the company announced previously this year.
GM estimated almost 600 of the new jobs developed in these facilities will replace work previously done outside the United States.
The provider park will be in operation in 2018, General Motors informed.
