The new 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

by Alex

The 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show saw Subaru reveal the Impreza Design Concept, demonstrating how the next generation Impreza is going to be like. Inspired by the design concept, Jonsibal has managed to visualize the WRX STI model of the Subaru. They have come up with the production version of the car and the way they have presented the car, its going to a handsome car for real.

The concept design is based on the motto “Dynamic, Enticing, Secure.” With this motto in mind, they have added a top-mount intercooler, requisite fender flares along with a massive wing on the rear.

The standard version of the Subaru Impreza will be unveiled in early 2011. The model will be based on the same 2.5 liter Boxer engine. Some rumors are doing the rounds that the Subaru Impreza will have a hybrid version for the first time. Well that’s an exciting piece of news. The WRX STI model will be out within a few months of the standard launch. The models are expected to hit the showrooms in the year 2012.
