The Japanese automaker slowly present to the public its upcoming JX crossover. This presentation continues today with the release of the first real-life photograph of the seven-passenger model, which will receive its public outing in concept form at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 18, 2011.
This picture it’s more of a teaser, but Infiniti thinks it’s enough for now. Even if it does not offer to many details, we can spot some similarities to the FX, but let’s wait until they reveal the car in full then see what’s what.
The advertising is very important in this marker and Infiniti is one of the best in this branch. Launched at exactly 7:07 am, the car also announced the “Power of 7”. This is an innovative social media campaign designed to initiate conversation about the JX Concept.
“Families don’t have many luxury vehicle options today. The new Infiniti JX will be the 7-passenger antidote to the ho-hum luxury crossovers that are out there right now,” said Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti Americas.
Regarding the production version, the 2012 Infiniti JX crossover will be officially unveiled at the 2011 LA Auto Show, and will hit the dealerships in Spring of 2012.

The “Power of 7” idea is brilliant,in my opinion. I think is one of the best advertising ideas that comes lately. Even if the car will be a crap, i’m sure that everyone will talk about it ant the main aim of this campaign will be reached.
It may be an brilliant idea, but I just can’t wait no more to see the car 😀
