It would sound rather funny a scooter being launched by BMW but that’s the upcoming two-wheeler that the company is planning to launch. 2013 BMW C650GT is a premium maxi-scooter and when we talk about performance it can give some serious competition to the existing range of bikes.
The scooter has 647cc in-line engine with generation capacity of 60 hp and 49 lb-ft. of torque. While the scooter continues to have the BMW’s trademark sporty look, the scooter will have an auto transmission gearbox and can be easily operated on any roads.
The 2013 BMW C650GT has tubular steel bridge surround with an aluminum swingarm and 40mm fork. It also has an oil bath roller chain in an encapsulate cluster and this helps in reducing the maintenance cost of the scooter.
Another good thing about it is that it has a wider seat, adjustable electrical windscreen and raised handlebars and a huge space of 60 liters in the rear seat section. The pricing is not final but it may be in the range of $10,000 – $11,000.
