Porsche has recently announced a fresh range of Porsche Panamera models. The company will present the plug-in-hybrid with the new Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid, a Porsche Panamera Turbo Executive and a Porsche Panamera 4S all at the forthcoming Shanghai Auto Show 2013.
Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid comes with a more powerful electric motor, battery with higher-performance that supplies more energy and the ability to charge it externally from the electrical grid. Charging the car is much easier when connected to an industrial outlet. It can be charged in just two and a half hours via the integrated on-board charger and the standard Porsche Universal Charger (AC). A household electrical outlet which is German power rated can help the car charge in less than four hours.
The Porsche Panamera Turbo Executive and the Panamera 4S Executive comes with better powerhouse where Porsche has removed the two cylinders from the previous 4.8 liter V8 engines to a new 3 liter V6 engines alongwith two turbochargers. This helps to increase the performance of the cars and better fuel economy.
