The Abarth 695 Biposto had its world premiere in Geneva this week, marking the 50th anniversary of the Abarth 695. The little car is also termed as the ‘fastest street legal Abarth ever’.
The car is equipped with features such as a front intercooler, an Akrapovic exhaust system, Extreme Shox adjustable shock absorbers, an MXL digital data logger, Sabelt seats with 4-point seat belts, a Brembo braking system, lightened 18-inch OZ rims and a rear titanium roll bar by Poggipolini.
Abarth also claims that, with a 190HP, 997kg 1.4 T-Jet engine, the 695 Biposto offers the best weight-to-power ratio in its category (5.2kg/HP) and also the best acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds. The car can hit a top speed of 143 mph (230 kmph).
The two-seater 695 Biposto could be considered a true sports car as it has fixed front windows with polycarbonate sliding panels and specific styling kit – bumpers, side skirts, wheel arches and spoilers with carbon inserts produced by Zender.
