The New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) made a comeback and opened to the general public on Friday after two years of interruption by the coronavirus crisis.
The NYIAS, which dates back to 1900, scales down the exhibition area in 2022 but showcased new electric vehicles (EVs) from at home and abroad.

Some of the innovations that were displayed in the auto show included:
- clean-energy electric bus,
- electric vehicles of VinFast,
- Subaru models, Martino Auto Concepts,
- SOS Emergency Assistance,
- all-electric taxi,
- fully electric Toyota car,
- electric police car.
The auto show runs from April 15 to April 24 at the fully expanded Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
The New York Auto Show is aimed at displaying innovations of dozens of automakers including hundreds of new 2022 and 2023 models.
