Last time, back in the year 2011, the luxury US automaker under General Motors Corp., Cadillac, introduced a concept vehicle known as the Ciel. However, for some reasons, the car had not been seen anywhere ever since. That was true until the latest Entourage video came up where it displayed the aforementioned vehicle model from the luxury automotive brand from the US soil. So, is the Cadillac Ciel making a comeback at last?
Car enthusiasts might have known that Cadillac first introduced the model during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event of 2011. The car was introduced as an open-top vehicle that would accommodate up to four passengers all at the same time. As for the power it is going to pack under the hood, Cadillac has chosen to implant a 3.6L V6 twin-turbo engine. This engine will have a maximum power output of 425 hp and a maximum torque of 583 Nm.
Some rumors out there suggest that Cadillac will put the Ciel in place of the Lincoln Continental open-top model. The latter was actually once featured in a TV show. In fact, it even made some kinds of a cameo appearance with the automaker putting Drama behind the steering wheel of the vehicle.
Now, speaking of the Cadillac Ciel, as mentioned earlier, it has been featured in the latest edition of the Entourage movie franchise. The movie is slated for release in summer 2015. As always, this time, too, the movie will be starring Adrien Grenier as Vincent Chase, Kevin Connolly as E, Jerry Ferrara as Turtle, Kevin Dillon as Johnny, and also Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold.
In case you doubt about the existence or the possible comeback of the Cadillac Ciel luxury roadster, well, just so you know, the information comes from trustworthy sources, like Autoblog and even Warner Bros. Pictures itself.
