Beijing Preview: Bentley Continental Special Editions heading to the Mainland

by Ron Grant

Bentley has been selling their luxury cars in mainland China since 2002. After eight years of feeding the hungry luxury segment of the market, Bentley is not looking back with sales figures growing ten fold since their kick off. China is the 3rd largest market of the luxury brand. Bentley’s crew will be sending special editions specifically made for the biggest populace in the world.

The special edition Bentleys will be derived from the line up of Continental.

The Continental Flying Spur gets a Speed China version. This will be the tone down version of the luxury 4-door salon considered to be the fastest in its segment. Bentley softened the car’s suspension and gave a softer exhaust note.

The second offering for the Chinese market is the coupe tagged as the Bentley Continental GT which is part of the Design Series China. This one gives all what it can for the interior of the Bentley. Anyone will fall for the 3-tone leather used all over and some vibrant accents. The luxury car manufacturer also gives consumers two more choices on the color palette, the Magenta Metallic and the Orange Flame.

This Bentley pairs will take the spotlight as the Beijing Motor Show starts this Friday.
