A businessman purchases car park and makes it free

An entrepreneur has been referred to as a “star” and “legend” after taking control of a village car park and making it free.

Seafield parking lot in Westward Ho! previously expense ₤ 3 daily, now Rob Braddick has taken over it from Torridge District Council.

Business he owns, Braddicks Leisure, includes a bar near the vehicle park called the Pier House.

However, he spokened: “It’s not everything about taking money. It is nice to offer something back to the neighborhood.”
