The Australian Motor show begins on 19th october, and wraps up by 28th October. Now here right before the show has began, this piece of news has been confirmed that, at the Sydney Motor Show, Australia’s one and only Aston Martin One-77 supercar will make a starring appearance at the Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In 2010, Aston Martin had made it clear with the price tag of £1.2 million, and that too one of only 77 models, will be given to selected number of people. In Australia the price was $2.5 million and more, including local import costs and taxes. Indeed this car, is Aston Martin’s ultimate production car.
The original design was developed by the design director, Marek Reichman and his team, who created this machinery, with so much passion and integrity, that this car is definitely one of the most outstanding cars and this will be proved in the show.
His team formed this car with around with full carbonfibre monocoque, with 3500 carbonfibre elements combined to make up this car’s structure. This Car was ahndcrafted in England, each Aston Martin One-77 took 2700 man-hours to complete by a team of 27 technicians who assembled the car, the interior is a mix of billet-machined aluminium, naked carbonfibre and 10 leather hides cut into 100 individual patterns.
Power to the vehicle is drawn from a naturally aspirated 7.3-litre V12 engine, by Cosworth Engineering, which helps to deliver a 559kW of power and 750Nm of torque, and this helps the car to do a run of 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed in excess of 350km/h.
Quoting, Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez, he describes the One-77 as “the ultimate expression of Aston Martin”.
“The One-77 was first revealed to the world in concept form three years ago, and this year, Australians will be able to see one in all its glory after its owner has generously allowed for it to be on public display, only months after taking possession,” he said.
He also adds that “Right from the beginning of the project the vision for the One-77 was very simple: It had to combine high-technology with hand-built craftsmanship, and demonstrate the unique capabilities and passion of our designers, engineers and technical partners.”
“The One-77 is a landmark car for Aston Martin, a machine that will endure as both a technological tour-de-force and as a piece of automotive art.”
