The Audi R8 GT3-2 by MTM

by Alex Patrick

An Audi R8 has been turned into a very powerful street racer or rider by the German Tuner company MTM. The Audi R8 an original sportscar has displayed its abilities on the race track recently.

The tuned model named MTM R8 GT3-2 would have a 4.2 FSI engine under its hood. The power developed would be 560 hp which is more than the standard power of 420 hp for the Audi R8. This power would be delivered at 7750 RPM while the torque generated would be 580 Nm at 5500 RPM. The complete car would be a rear wheel drive. Top speeds being 196 mph the acceleration ability of the tuned car would be 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds.

Wheels of 20 inch dia and front spoilers made up of carbon fiber as well as same material for the side skirt, and rear wing gives a sporty look to the car. The redesigned front spoiler further elongates the front of the car and gives a lean mean racing machine look to the car.
