There are not few car manufacturers out there that have a special modification division. Take BMW and its M performance division for an example or Mercedes-Benz with its AMG division. Well, it turns out that this particular automaker from Britain, the Aston Martin, has a performance division as well it calls the Q division. Only recently, the Aston Martin Q division has unveiled an all-new Jet Black Vanquish Coupe that comes as a result of the work done by the Q division of the British automaker.
As in the case of the performance/modification division of most automakers, the Q division of Aston Martin also allows customers to choose for themselves the kinds of personalization they would like to see available on their car. As for the most recent work by the Q division, the Jet Black Vanquish Coupe, it comes with a pair of special Aston Martin wing badges, both of which are made of the carbon fiber material. That, however, is not the only thing exciting about the coupe in question.
The interior of the car, for example, is wrapped in perforated leather sporting two-tone black and red paint, complete with suede accents. The car also looks aggressive with a set of 20” bespoke wheels in the Satin Black paint finish.
Although the car may look slightly different in styling when compared to the standard Vanquish coupe model, its engine is actually the same as the one used in the standard model. The Jet Black Vanquish Coupe still counts on a 5.9L V12 engine capable of the delivery of 565 hp. The engine is also paired with an 8-speed Touchtronic3 automatic transmission. This transmission is set to take the place of the company’s former 6-speed Touchtronic2 automatic transmission. The latter is standard on Aston Martin models produced in 2012, 2013 and also early 2014.
