Due to the fact that the tuning industry is continuing to produce at a really high level, and tuning companies seem to have quite a simpathy for the Bavarian carmaker BMW, we will probably have soon more tuning packages than cars. Which is quite awesome.
The German tuner TVW Car Design has brought to us a tuning package for the BMW 1M Coupe, dubbed “Orange Competition”. The tuner targeted both the visual and the performance departments, completing the job succesfully.
The car received a set of 20-inch lightweight alloy rims as well as carbon fiber roof and rear spoiler. The interior could have not be forgotten, also receiving a bit of attention manifested in a set of bucket seats and a custom steering wheel that uses LED indicators.
As for the engine, the twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight six has been gifted with a custom exhaust system, an ECU remap, and a new intercooler, thus bringing the output up from 335 hp and 450 Nm to 500 hp and 620 Nm. Now, the coupe now manages to offer a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h).
We will keep to inform you not only about the evolution of this specific model, but of other tuners and other tuned cars, over an over again, since we seem to love it!
