BMW is on a high, as even after launching these many numbers of vehicles the company thinks that are still missing out some slots open. By this time the company has launched a sedan, a station wagon, and a GT version for their 5-Series, but even with so many launches it still seems that something is missing. Maybe with the launch of another coupe and cabrio versions of the 5 series that will bring the curtains down to the launch row.
It wasn’t too long ago the officials at BMW had an idea for a coupe and cabrio version for the 5-Series always at the back of their minds. And now they are finally up with the plan, as they decide to come up with the two versions of the 5 series. This decision for making a concept car was quite obvious and simple to make as recently Mercedes announced their recent plans and ideas for launching a coupe version for the C-Class.
The design and the look of this upcoming coupe are going to be seen similar to the sedan with just an addition of the two stretched doors and the rear lights which is derived from the station wagon model. And a similar change and setup is going to be followed for the convertible version, which will be mostly following a similar upgrade as the 3-Series cabrio which also include a fully functional hardtop. But the hard top is battling its way as it is not a sure deal and green signal to go as the company plans to replace it with large trunk space.
Now that’s all that we could spice up for now, so utmost we just have to wait for the launch or wait for an BMW executive to “LEAK” some of the fruitful information with us for the present concept version of the car.
