Cadillac‘s marketing boss has said that there will be two new models on offer later this year.
Giving details to a wellknown magazine, Mr Don Butler said the brand would introduce the 2014 CTS at the New York Auto Show, followed by the the next-generation Escalade at a special event.
As reported earlier, the 2014 CTS is expected to have an unique design which is likely to borrow some ideas from the Ciel concept. It is expected to be to be slightly larger than its predecessor and depend on an enlarged version of the Alpha platform that undermines the ATS.
Engine choices has not been confirmed, but there is some rumor to suggest that there can be a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with about 272 hp (203 kW), a 3.6-liter V6 with 321 hp (239 kW) and an all-new twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 with easily 400 hp (298 KW).
