Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at Geneva

by SpeedLux

Chevrolet launched the convertible version of Corvette Stingray in the ongoing Geneva Motor Show. The convertible model is not very different from the original coupe version in terms of looks and so the not very difficult to attract the eyeballs of the visitors.

The model has a powerful LT1 6.2 liter V-8 engine which has an estimated output generation capacity of 450 hp. As mentioned earlier, not much structural changes have been done; the power-to-weight ratio remains the same.

Tadge Juechter, Corvette chief engineer stated that they wanted the convertible to give the same performance and experience to the car lovers as their coupe open top car version and that the car should live upto the expectation of the brand “Stingray”. We can say that have surely succeeded in doing so and it is a great work done by them.
