The US automaker Chevrolet seems determined to dominate the global automotive market. As a matter of fact, the company is even prepping what seems to be a new crossover. This crossover vehicle model is likely to come with the emblem Impala Blackout but for now, it is a concept vehicle. However, as reported by Edmunds, the US automaker is actually trying to finish development on the production version of the vehicle model in question. According to Edmunds, the car and crossover marketing at Chevrolet, Steve Majoros, has unveiled that the concept could actually have a special edition known as the Midnight Edition.
As its name implies, the car will be dominated by the black color. It will sport blacked-out front grille, to begin with. In addition to that, the vehicle will also sit on a set of either smoke grey or completely black alloy wheels. Heck, even the Chevy’s typical bowtie emblem on this car will also be completely painted in black.By far, there may be one question that arises in the mind of Chevy’s fans. Is the Midnight Edition of the Chevrolet Impala Blackout Concept only special about being black or dark?
Thankfully, this does not seem to be the case. To tell the truth, if everything goes as planned and Chevrolet decides to bring the features available on the concept vehicle onto the production version, customers will also be able to enjoy upgrades to the interior.
Speaking of the interior upgrades, customers can expect to have stainless steel door sills, wire mesh trim and also black leather seats. Based on the information revealed by Steve Majoros, the Chevrolet Impala Blackout Midnight Edition could very well make its debut in this oncoming 2015. It is likely that the car will bow to the public in spring.
