Chevrolet has reported that the ZR2 Bison has been already sold out for 2019. The vehicle recently went on sale at the start of the year and 2,000 trucks were allocated for this year.
The Chevrolet ZR2 Bison was constructed together with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV). It includes custom front and rear bumpers that have integrated recovery points. Special foglights are also constructed. The truck also consists of an AEV snorkel. The Bison comes with the standard ZR2 off-road package which consists DSSV suspension. AEV then strengthened it for off-road use.
The Bison has been among one of the many offerings in the increasing midsize truck market. With a starting cost of $48,045, demand for the Bison seems to be through the roof. Chevrolet states it has sold north of 134,000 Colorados in the 2018 calendar year in the United States. ZR2 sales represent no less than 10 percent of total Colorados sold. There has been no comment from Chevrolet if they will allocate more ZR2 Bisons for this year. Customers are still able to attempt to price and locate the ZR2 Bison on Chevrolet’s website. Discovering a dealer that has one for sale would be pretty hard at this moment.
