Jaguar, a luxury automotive marquee from the Great Britain, has eventually taken the liberty of giving out the very first image of its upcoming 2016 model year XF model. The car is actually scheduled for its world premiere on March 24, 2015. Yet, the company has released the first official image depicting the interior of the vehicle ahead of its scheduled debut.
As it turns out, the luxury British automaker, Jaguar, has actually redesigned the XF model completely. To begin with, the exterior of the car has been designed from the ground up and it now features a curvaceous body and a sculpted engine hood, resulting in a pretty stylish exterior that will catch the attention of most passers-by. It has also been pointed out by Ian Callum, which happens to be the Design Director at the company, that this upcoming, all-new XF model will prove to be the best looking vehicle model in its segment. As Callum puts it, the car is going to be handsome, elegant and that its proportions represent a great integrity. Callum also goes as far as to claim that the car will remain true to the strong tradition of Jaguar saloon models while at the same time being unique according to its time.
As for the interior, the car will offer unrivaled technology, comfort, luxury and refinement. As you can see from the image of the cabin, the interior will come with a 3-spoke steering wheel, rotary gear knob, revised switchgear, piano black trim, wraparound wood trim and even a new onboard vehicle infotainment system as well.
Unfortunately, there are no official details on the engine specifications so far. Nonetheless, the company has actually confirmed that the car is going to have its chassis based on the iQ[AI] chassis, which is a chassis that makes intensive use of the aluminum material. This chassis will enable the 2016 Jaguar XF to redefine the benchmarks for weight as well as fuel efficiency. According to Jaguar, the 2016 XF has a fuel consumption of 4.0 L/100 km. Now, just how efficient is that?!
