Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Tuesday asked on Twitter: “Do you want Tesla to accept Doge?”

Dogecoin is a digital currency currently worth about 47 cents each.

The poll itself comes days after he called dogecoin a “hustle,” sending the cryptocurrency’s price reeling after a 700% rally in a month.

Based on present prices, one would need almost 80,000 dogecoins or 0.7 bitcoin to purchase the cheapest Tesla Model 3 car.

The tweet which has been liked by nearly 321k users saw about 3,922,516 votes of which 78.2% showed their support towards Tesla’s acceptance of Dogecoins, while 21.8% opposed it.

Dogecoin saw an increase of over 700% during the last month and is now the fourth-largest digital currency. It hit a record high Thursday above 73 cents.
