Elon Musk sent a memo to SpaceX workers on Friday downplaying the threat of coronavirus, a pandemic, according to a report from BuzzFeed News.
Musk’s email told workers of the space transport company that they were much more likely to die from a car crash than coronavirus. He also stated that based on the evidence he had seen regarding COVID-19, he doesn’t think it’s among “the top 100 health risks in the United States”. The email follows a tweet Musk sent last week where he tweeted that “the coronavirus panic is dumb.” SpaceX is yet to address these findings.
