About two weeks ago, Eterniti Motors, the newest luxury brand on the market, released the first sketch of its first model – a luxury SUV crossover, which will be launched at Frankfurt motor show, this month. Well, now they’ve released a new teaser, showing the car from above.
Dubbed Hemera, the vehicle is supposed to be part of the upper SUV segment. The British car maker says the Hemera will be part of a new niche that will provide new levels of luxury, space and performance through features that include a vented engine bonnet, a rear roof spoiler and muscular wheel arches. In addition to that comes a limousine-like rear cabin with reclining seats, equipment that includes iPads and even a refrigerator plus dynamic performance combined with the ruggedness of a 4×4.
Here’s what the company has to say about itself “Eterniti is backed by a group of international investors and has been established by people who have a passion for cars. The team has extensive experience in retailing some of the most prestigious British and European luxury and high-performance car brands, in markets from the UK to Asia-Pacific. It has further experience in the development and manufacture of high-end components and motor sport.”
The prototype version Eterniti Hemera will be shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show next week, while production and the first customer delivery are expected to start in 2012.
The engineering team is led by Alastair Macqueen, who was responsible for the development of the Jaguar XJ220 supercar to production and has won the Le Mans 24-Hour race with both Jaguar and Bentley. Eterniti also has its very own, F1 driver Johnny Herbert.
