According to details on the successor of Ferrari F12, the next 12 cylinder front engine Ferrari will include a 6.5 liter V-12 engine which produces 800HP equivalent to 789 HP. Torque will sit at 530 lb-ft, in which 80 percent will be available at a low RPM of 3,500 rpm.

The new V-12 engine will be linked to a seven speed transmission that will up shift 30 percent faster and 40 percent faster in downshift compared to the seven speed dual clutch in F12. It can reach from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds and to 124 mph in 8 seconds. The speed is expected to be higher than the F12 which boasts 211 mph.

The latest technology found in F12 TdF and GTC4Lusso including Side Slip Control Drift System and the four wheel steering system, will also be offered, which will be welcomed by Ferrari buyers. The new Ferrari is rumored to forego hydraulic steering in favor of an electric setup, the change which some might not be too happy about.

The new Ferrari is said to be more aggressive than its predecessor. Some described a floating rear diffuser suggesting that there may be a small space between the rear bumper and the diffuser. Another noted, is the presence of Quad Tail lamps. This hardly is a surprise, seeing as the latest cars to leave Ferrari’s styling department like the GTC4Lusso and GTC4Lusso T, feature four tail lamps. It is expected to debut in or before the Geneva Motor show, March 2017.
