It is common that Europe is way ahead of United States in getting better cars. Henceforth, Canada too will be occupying the position. It is getting in action with the unveiling of Honda GEAR concept at the Montreal Auto Show yesterday.
Inspired by fixed-gear bicycles, the new model is simple, customizable and utilitarian, says the company.
Honda R&D Americas’ design director Dave Marek said at the event the subcompact cars are either utilitarian or fun, but the GEAR concept is equipped with both and it is also affordable.
GEAR concept is completely in concept mode with blacked out windows as there is no functional interior into it. It has direct connection to tight-pants-wearing and carries no-logo, sporting concept for fixie-riding Gen Y-ers. It has quad exhausts, roof spoiler rear air diffuser, two giant headlights and very clean looking hatch of course.
