The first in-depth video tours have been released recently featuring a production McLaren P1, only several days after the super car started to arrive at its rightful owners.
With the probability of becoming the fastest car in the world to lap the tracks of Nürburgring, the McLaren P1 has finally entered the production phase which gives us the chance to take a closer look at one of the first units ever made. One of the YouTube users, Shmee150, had the opportunity to record a couple of extensive videos of the P1 which has allegedly lapped the Ring in time of just 6 minutes and 47 seconds.
Just 375 units of the P1 will be made, and the one which is appearing in these videos was filmed in UK after receiving a paint protection film. The carbon fiber-wrapped McLaren P1 will be able to do 0 to 62 mph (100 kmph) in just 2.8 seconds while the 0-124 mph (0-200 kmph) sprint will be completed in 6.8 seconds. In just 16.5 seconds the super car will be able to hit 186 mph (300 kmph) before hitting an electronically-capped top speed of 217 mph (350 kmph).
