Infiniti G37 will be sold alongside Q50 until mid-2015

Infiniti has recently made an announcement that the G37 will be available on sale in the US until mid-2015.

Even though the all-new 2014 Q50 was designed to replace the existing G37, the company has for now decided to sell both the models simultaneously for some time. However the differentiating factor for the G37 would be that it is going to be available only in the Journey trim level with a V6 3.7-liter engine linked to a rear-wheel drive setup (starting from 32,550 USD) or an all-wheel drive arrangement (base price of 34,150 USD). The customers would also have an option to install Premium and Navigation packages but at an additional cost.

Talking about the 2014 Infiniti Q50, the model starts off from 37,605 USD for which the base model is available and is equipped with a V6 3.7-liter engine. There is also Hybrid version which would cost 44,855 USD and would come fitted with a V6 3.5-liter engine, a 50 kW electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack.

Although the company has announced a new nomenclature for 2014MY onwards, the G37 will be an exception and would retain its moniker until mid-2015 when it is planned to be phased out.
