by SpeedLux

The sale of Ferrari models in Japan is on a rise. As per the latest figures, the sales of Ferrari models in Japan have increased by as much as 40 percent for the first quarter ended March 2013. Talking about numbers, the company has sold as many as 144 new models in the quarter in Japan alone. The number of models sold is almost double the vehicles sold in US market which is also the largest market for Ferrari cars.

What is even more interesting is that the Japanese Ferrari owner’s club claims that they are the world’s biggest active Ferrari club with over 600 active members.

According to an auto analyst from HIS Automotive, the aforementioned sales figures of Japan could just be the start of a new trend for the company and also for the car likings of the people of Japan. This also means that the company may look forward to launching more super luxury models in the country and gain the market share by strengthening their dealership networks.
