It’s a treat and luck factor at play for one to get a view of the SLR Stirling Moss from Mercedes, out on the road and not within the air conditioned and secured garage space. Further luck it is to see the man behind the wheel as none other than American rapper, singer, and record producer, Kanye West.
This $1.06 million car was driven by Kanye while he was attending the Cannes Film festival. It is not very certain if he owns the car or had borrowed it for the time.
For technical details, the car is fitted with a 5.5-liter supercharged V8 from the 722 SLR, which delivers 650 hp. The car has a top speed of 217 mph and that without the windshield too. For acceleration the car takes 3.5 seconds for the 0 to 60 mph rush. The car has neither windshield nor roof and therefore requires some special accessories to drive the car given the speeds it is capable of.
