In the race to record the growing worldwide smartphone industry, British vehicle brand Jaguar Land Rover, presently owned by Tata Motors, is all set to launch smartphones and accessories by the start of 2017.
For this task, Land Rover has tied up with consumer electronic devices company Bullitt Group to establish a bespoke smartphone and variety of devices.
“Incorporating iconic Land Rover design and innovative technology into the cellphone sector with Bullitt Group presents an exciting challenge and fantastic opportunity to take the brand into a new dimension,” stated Lindsay Weaver, director of licensing and branded items at Jaguar Land Rover.
“An engineering and design group from Jaguar Land Rover unique operations will be assigned to the partnership and consequently provide a number of bespoke applications customized to Land Rover brand and product values,” Weaver included.
As per Bullitt Group, the company will partner with Land Rover to define and establish a groundbreaking portfolio of mobile devices and peripherals which will take the brand name into a brand-new and exciting business surface.
“With a mix of toughness and sophistication, the new range will be created to be an active lifestyle partner, aimed at people who prefer to handle new challenges and go ‘above and beyond’ the normal,” read a statement.
The portfolio will release in early 2017 and will embody the core points of the Land Rover brand, including some really ingenious abilities and innovation.
“We are confident the new range of products will completely encapsulate everything that Land Rover represents, attracting those who already like the brand name and providing an introduction to those who are yet to discover it,” notes Peter Stephens, CEO of Bullitt Group.
Bullitt Group has been dealing with numerous clients on their tough and rugged smartphones in the past.
