Rumor has it that the luxury division owned by the Japanese automaker Toyota, Lexus, does not have any plans to release its LF-C2 concept vehicle as the RC Convertible. Nevertheless, ironically, the company has now released a number of images that depict the vehicle in question enjoying some photo shoot sessions close by the very beautiful and attractive Mediterranean Sea. So, what is going on at Lexus for real? The LF-C2 concept is definitely a gorgeous car so why isn’t the company releasing it yet again?
Taking a close look at the images released by the said automaker, it can be seen clearly that the Lexus LF-C2 concept vehicle looks very much alike the Lexus RC. However, the concept does come with quite a few revisions to make it stand out even more from the RC model. For an example to begin with, Lexus has made some modifications to the front grille of the car. Besides the front grille, Lexus has also revised the air intakes of the vehicle, the headlamps and even the LED daytime running lights with the shape of the letter V. In addition to those revisions, the car also features super-slim side mirrors. It is worth noting, though, that this kind of side mirrors is not officially approved for production just yet.
Heading to the rear fascia of the vehicle, the Lexus LF-C2 concept comes with four chrome exhaust pipes stacked in twin pipe design on the left and right sides of the rear bumper. In addition to that, the car now features a whole brand new set of taillights, too. The car sits firmly on a set of bespoke wheels that look very interesting. Last but not least, the appearance of the car is made even nicer, thanks to the bright gold hue that Lexus has chosen to be applied onto it.
