Lexus LF-LC Concept 2012

by Laly

Blending high technology with organic shapes in order to connect the driver to the machine, the Lexus LF-LC was unveiled this year at the Detroit Auto Show.
A “moonlighting” concept, yet resembling the Lexus LFA, the Lexus LF-LC isn’t going to be produced but we’ll probably see the elements of design in future Lexus models; the style of the LF-LC grille has already been used on the Lexus GS 350.

Even though we associate hybrids with fuel economy, the LF-LC shows us that hybrids can also be built for performance.

A futuristic yet functional interior shows LF-LC’s driver-centric with switches and knobs replaced by touch-screen controls on a pair of 12.3 inch LCD screens and yet the technology combined with style ( wood and leather ) make this Lexus LF-LC a luxury car. The driver can easily control the audio system, climate controls as well as navigation while every door gets similar touch-screen surfaces allowing passengers as well as the driver to operate the windows, seat adjustments, mirrors and even personal entertainment settings.
The latest Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive powers this sexy Lexus LF-LC, giving it both fuel efficiency and performance.

All in all, too bad we won’t be seeing this car on the streets: at least we’ll be seeing future models “wearing” components of this sexy and luxurious Lexus LF-LC.
