Nissan Pathfinder 2012 Review

by Laly

Nissan continues to amaze with the new Nissan Pathfinder concept which was revealed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 9th 2012.

Nissan is celebrating its comeback at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit by launching this new Pathfinder, and offering the first clues on how the new generation will look like this autumn; the concept has a particular design with a strong front side given by long headlights. This Pathfinder will also have a more dramatic aerodynamic appearance.

The interior is heavenly improved, an improvement given by the higher quality of the materials (leather upholstery) and the modern design.

The Pathfinder is built on an all-new platform, with a large sunroof. It still keeps the 7 seat and the 4 wheel drive and the unibody design seems to resemble an Infinity crossover.

This Nissan will be powered by a 3.5 liter V6, with 265 bhp.

The security features Nissan Pathfinder provides are antilock brakes, four wheel independent suspension ( which helps the Pathfinder keep every ride with stable handling), ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags which cover all seating rows, front side airbags.

The Pathfinder will still be offered in S, SV and LE models with Silver Edition slotting above the SV. The Silver Edition will include Bluetooth, heated seats, power-adjustable pedals and optional with a moon-roof and DVD player. If you choose up-level models, your Pathfinder will have flashier wheels, Intelligent Key, XM Satellite Radio, heated steering wheel, wood trim on the top LE and upgraded Bose audio with ten speakers.

A navigation system is standard on the LE models which also include Nissan’s All Mode 4WD system.
Silver Edition versions also have special exterior and interior.
