Two people are dealing with impaired driving charges, implicated of crashing the same automobile.
“Every time you’re pleased you’ve seen it all, something like this happens,” stated RCMP representative Sgt. Bert Paquet.
RCMP were called to a crash west of Dauphin, Manitoba, on Highway 5 prior to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The driver of an Oldsmobile Cutlass was trying a U-turn when he collided with a pickup, triggering the truck to go into the ditch, police stated.
Emergency teams were called but before their arrival, the driver of the car went out and ran into some nearby bush. A woman, who was a traveler in the car, then rushed into the driver’s seat repelled, cops stated.
However she only got about 500 metres before she guided the automobile into the ditch.
When RCMP showed up, a 36-year-old woman was collared. The 43-year-old male was discovered after a brief search in the bush as well as jailed.
Nobody was seriously hurt in either of the crashes, cops stated.
