Marouane Bembli’s Audi R10 Design Study, looks mature from the initial 2 year old design

by Alex

It was Marouane Bembli who had in November 2009 come out with the proposed design of an Audi that could find place just above the R8. The 23 year old design student from Sweden had designed his dream with sharp lines, centralized cockpit and dimensions that would rival the Rolls Royce Phantom. It was to be named the R10 but for its unlikely improbability in turning the dream into reality.

He has now come out with the v2.0 of the R10 and this time the design seems to depict the wisdom that he has gained in the intervening period. The base design and that is of a car with low roof, wide body coupe yet remains. He even has the engine being mounted in the middle, but this time round he has given a more aggressive look to the car with the front end treatment as well as rear view mirrors of larger size. There is also the addition of fighter jet-inspired side air intakes as well as cabin windows.

Overall the design can now be termed as more cohesive one. There are yet the aspects of the curved bootlid or the small, high mounted taillights that can yet be distinguished from the rest of the design. The rear portions yet contrast the overall look of the car and may need some rework or rethink. Readers however are open to submit their views on the aspect. Better or worse than the 2009 object is what the readers may like to comment upon.
