The luxury German automaker, Mercedes-Benz, actually launched the GLE Coupe some two weeks earlier. Now, the car has been spotted unofficially for the very first time ever. Do not be mistaken, though, as the vehicle spotted is not quite likely the version that comes from the company’s AMG division at all.
This can be seen from the exterior that the car sports. To start it off, the car comes with a front fascia that is dominated by chrome accents. Besides the chrome accents, the car also comes with a single bar this time. In addition to that, the car also sits firmly on what seems to be a set of wheels that are not the same as the one used by the AMG variant, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG, which is the top trim of the model.
As reported by the walkoART, the upcoming variant of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe will come with two engine options. To start with, customers can choose the 350 4MATIC diesel engine. This one is expected to deliver 258 hp of power output as well as 620 Nm of torque. The second option that customers can choose as well is the GLE 400 4MATIC engine. Thanks to this engine, owners of this car will be able to enjoy a peak power output of 333 hp and a peak torque of 480 Nm. Both variants will seemingly have a displacement capacity of 3 liters, six cylinders arranged in the V configuration and they will also be equipped with twin turbochargers.
Of course, this production variant of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe will not be as powerful as its AMG counterparts. However, this does not necessarily mean that they are not worth considering at all. In fact, to find out more about what it can offer, it may be wise to pay attention to the YouTube video.
