Mercedes is already working on the next generation SL and SLK, which are both expected to debut later this year. To take the maximum out of current generation models, Mercedes is launching two special editions in Europe: SL Night Edition and SLK Grand Edition.
Both roadsters feature a stylish interior with numerous sophisticated highlights like the the optional designo magno night black matt paint finish on the SL Night Edition and special designo graphite paint finish on the SLK Grand Edition.
The SL Night Edition also features 19-inch AMG five-spoke light-alloys, silver-painted front brake callipers with the Mercedes-Benz logo and darkened headlamps/tail lights. Interior is upgraded with fine black nappa leather, shining chrome trim and newly designed seats.
The SLK Grand Edition gets 18-inch light-alloy wheels with five triple spokes, silver-coloured fins on the bonnet, headlamps matching the paint finish and a third brake light. Interior gets the same nappa leather treatment as the SL Nigh Edition, there are also newly designed seats and Grand Edition emblem above the glove compartment.
The additional cost over the standard version is between 3700 and 5200 Euro for the SL Night Edition and between 2300 and 3500 Euro for the SLK Grand Edition, depending on the engine variant. The special paint finishes cost an additional 3640 Euro for designo magno night black and 1800 Euro for designo graphite.
