There is a new bit of announcement coming from the luxury Germany-based automotive brand, Mercedes-Benz. The company claims that its loyal fans will be able to expect a new pick-up truck model by the year 2020. The company is reportedly considering this because it sees that the mid-size pick-up truck segment is becoming very promising, most likely because of the transformation in the segment that is taking place globally at the moment.

As the luxury German automaker puts it, it will turn out to be the first ever premium manufacturer that gives proper response to this shift in the pick-up market segment. The upcoming pick-up truck from the German company is likely to be sold in the markets of Europe, Australia, South Africa and Latin America.

It is reported that the pick-up truck will be the responsibility of the Vans division of the Germany-based company. Speaking of the company’s Vans division, the staffs there claim that they are convinced they are able to provide a perfect service to those buyers out there who are keen on buying a vehicle which is going to offer a high utility level as well as design, safety, comfort typical of a passenger car with the Mercedes-Benz badging on it.

In addition to that, the person that is in charge of making sure that everything goes as planned at the Mercedes-Benz Vans division, Volker Mornhinweg, also mentions that he and his company are bound to design this first ever pick-up truck model from Mercedes-Benz with success recipe in mind.
