Mercedes-Benz X-Class Coming in 2018

by SpeedLux

As per one of the news report, it seems that Mercedes Benz is in the process of introducing an X-Class for the 2018 model year. The car is expected to be built on next-generation Renault Clio platform and may compete with BMW’s front-wheel drive vehicles.

The company may use various components of the Mercedes Benz X-Class on the basis of Renault and Nissan so that the cost of the car remains under control. If the plans work out, the car is expected to hit the European markets at a price of approx. $26,000.

Other details are not available as of now. Also since the release date is quite far and it is difficult to guess as of now what the car industry would be 2018, not much prediction can be done accurately as of now about the series.

However, there are certain speculations with respect to engines which suggest that company may use 1-liter three-cylinder or 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine in the car.
