Wheelsandmore has released a tuning package for Ferrari California dubbed California Dreamin’. Offering an engine upgrade as well as new look for the Italian first Ferrari Gran Turismo with a mid-front 8-cylinder engine.
Ferrari California Dreamin’ package includes a new removable, valve controlled exhaust system and an update to the ecu software of the 4,300 cc V8 Direct Injection engine. These changes boost power to 500 hp and 525 lb-ft of torque, up from the standard 460 hp and 357 lb/ft of torque. Other technical additions include an optional combination of 200 cell sports catalysts and premuffler replacement tubes, handcrafted by Wheelsandmore.
Wheelsandmore, specialized in manufacturing 3-piece forged wheels, equipped the 2+2 hard top convertible with their 100% handmade wheelmodel 6 Sporz², which is customized on costumer´s option, matching the whole appearance of refreshed California. As Wheelsandmore is able to produce all of their wheels any sizes, they created the maximum possible sizes for the Ferrari California. Those light-weight wheels are sizing 9,0×21” at the front with tyres 245/30/21” and at the rear 12,5×21” with 345/25/21” S1Evo barrels from Hankook.
The tuner disclaimed any modifications at the serial suspension setup, only a lift-up system at the front axle provides a hydraulic lift around 40mm to avoid any damages in case of missing road clearance at speed bumps or parking garages. Beside this, this way the car achieves a much better handling and an accomplished sportscar look.
