Winning the votes of about 200,000 readers of the Auto Bild Magazine, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was named as the Europe’s most attractive car, handing the Auto Bild Design Award 2010. Also a poll was conducted among a group of renowned industrial experts and journalists, in which most of them voted the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG to win the Plus X Award. The sports car, which is expected to achieve its targeted return of sales, has been praising for the extraordinary design, along with its high delivery of power, largely due to the addition of an AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine. This has helped it to achieve acceleration from stationary to 62 miles per hour in a whooping 3.8 seconds.
The model will be glimpsed by the public next month, when the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG takes part in a free Car Show in London, running from 7th to 13th June. An estimated 400,000 visitors have to attend the show for the latest Car expo. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is all set to make a huge impact with its striking exterior design, Gull-wing Doors, and magnificent curved design extending to the mirrors, tail lights and 3-spoke steering wheel.
