For those waiting for the 2015 Corsa OPC from Opel, here comes a good bit of news for them. The company in question has actually launched a video that teases the aforementioned vehicle, which is slated for its world debut at the same time the 2015 Geneva Motor Show event kicks off.
Paying a detailed attention to the teaser video from Opel, it can clearly be seen that the teaser video features Joachim Winkelhock, a legendary racer. In the video, Winkelhock can be seen taking the vehicle for a few laps at a test track in Germany, the Dudenhofen circuit. It can also be seen that Winkelhock claims that the car is equipped with a good balance level and that he is impressed by it. Then, some moments later in the video, Karl-Thomas Neumann, the CEO of the German automaker, joins Winkelhock and confirms that the car actually boasts a higher power when compared to its predecessor. And, as if those balance and performance factors are not interesting enough, Neumann also points out that the car will be offered with a sticker price that is really fair to all keen buyers.
Unfortunately, the video is in the German language and the automaker is still keeping its lips sealed regarding the technical spec sheet of the car. However, reports suggest that the car will be counting on a 1.6L 4-cylinder turbo engine under its hood. The engine is believed to deliver 210 hp of power output, enabling the car to accelerate from a standstill to the speed of 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds or even less. And, for those who may well be wondering what kind of top speed that they can possibly achieve with the 2015 Opel Corsa OPC, well, reports suggest that the car will have no problem achieving a top speed of 230 km/h.
