Italian innovative automaker Pagani has recently launched its latest supercar the Huayra. The founder of the car manufacturer, Horacio Pagani has stated that the Huayra has been developed from their earlier cars and is supposed to be the most powerful car on the road. Pagani is famous for producing the Zonda Cinque, their fastest car for normal roads. Their previous highly successful supercar models were the Zonda R and the Zonda.
Under the hood, the Pagani Huayra has been installed with the 6.0 liter V12 AMG engine with twin turbochargers that can give an output of over 700 Horse power and a tremendous torque of over 1000 N-m. The power is transmitted to the wheels by the 7-speed Transverse sequential transmission. A force induction kit has been used by Pagani for maximizing the engine efficiency.
The Huayra outer body has been built of a carbon and titanium composite (Carbo-Tanium) which gives the structure and also reduces the weight of the structure. Hence the car only weighs around 1350 kilograms. The ceramic coated Quad exhaust has been built of high quality materials like inconnel and titanium. The Huayra features a unique air brake which greatly improves the handling of the car.
The supercar is a monster on the road courtesy of the high-end components provided by Pagani. It takes less than 3.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour. The V12 engine coupled to the twin turbochargers allows the Huayra to reach a top speed of 230 miles per hour.
Anyone will agree that Pagani has provided the car with aggressive and sexy looks on the outside but they also have to be commended for the lavish design of the car interior. Orange brown original leather wrapped steering wheels and seats have been provided. The Huayra also features extensive use of aluminium everywhere with the panel buttons and other accessories built of the shiny metal.
Mr Horacio Pagani has revealed that the Pagani Huayra will be priced at 1.4 million US dollars and the Italian manufacturer will continue to make the finest supercars in the future.
