There were the rich, both by way of cars and people that crowded the 2011 Qatar Auto Show. The Middle East region is known for the presence or introduction of exclusive and limited edition cars and the people there who are capable of buying these beauties. There was the exclusive Panamera 4S Exclusive from Porsche that was specially and only a Middle East version of the car. This one has a 4.8 liter V8 engine mated to a PDK dual-clutch transmission, which is the same one that powers the 4S.
The car is also added with the Sport Chrono Plus package which includes black alloy wheels, the Carrera White exterior finish and the red leather interior. There would be a fixed number of 66 units of this car to be built. Each of the cars would have a unique plaque mounted on its door sill as proof of its authenticity.
The exclusiveness of the car indicates the importance of the Middle East region in the auto world as stated by Deesch Papke, Managing Director of Porsche Middle East and Africa. This is the first time in its history that Porsche is going to build such a unique car for its PME region customers.
