Recently a Range Rover Convertible was seen cruising with the top down on the roads of Dubai.
Earlier in July we got to see a convertible conversion for the latest Range Rover conducted by Newport Convertible Engineering (NCE). Surprisingly, it seems someone was even interested in a cabrio Range Rover and so the person decided to give a considerable amount of money to someone willing to remove the SUV’s roof.
However there is no confirmation as to the car in the image is the work of NCE but if it is, the customized Range Rover is based on the Autobiography version and comes equipped with an electronically-operated soft top that can be opened and closed by just pressing a button. As can be seen in the image, the roof can be concealed by a cover when it’s lowered.
Far from being an eye-grabber, the Range Rover Convertible by NCE has already entered the limited production phase in August and is also available at select Range Rover dealerships.
But if you are looking out for something original, Land Rover is rumored to introduce a Range Rover Evoque Cabrio somewhere in 2014.
