Renault is going to resume production at the factory it operates with Chinese automaker Dongfeng Group in Wuhan, Hubei province and the epicenter of the outbreak of a latest flu-like virus, on February 10, a spokeswoman for the French automaker stated on Tuesday.

The reopening of the plant is set eight days after the end of the extended Lunar New Year holiday in China. Chine is currently the world’s top car market.

Beijing has added three days to the week-long holiday, which will now last until February 2 as it seeks to combat the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected thousands and killed more than hundred people.
