A lighter adaptation of the F-Type created by the association’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division is supposedly arranged.
Jaguar through its as of late settled SVO division uncovered a few days back the constrained run F-Type Project 7 which weighs 1,585 kg (3,495 lbs), making it 50 kg lighter than the F-Type V8 S Convertible whereupon is based. Obviously Jaguar won’t stop there as British media is reporting a considerably lighter variant of the F-Type is a work in progress.
Auto Express conversed with SVO’s executive Paul Newson who said the Project 7 could get a more diminutive and lighter motor, implying at the C-X75’s engine as a potential competitor, despite the fact that it might have been “intended for a 1m GBP supercar.” The motor he was alluding to is a 4-barrel 1.6-liter turbocharged and supercharged, fit for creating a remarkable 502 bhp (374 kw) at 10,000 rpm.
Other than the approaching Range Rover Sport SVR, JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations is obviously taking a shot at no less than three other unique models.
