Skoda has announced that it will start selling their all-new Octavia in India, where it will replace the previous model. The octavia was not sold under original name and was called Laura in India until now.
The larger and more advanced car will go on sale in India by the end of 2013, and no pricing details have been announced. However, the price difference will probably be equal to that of the European version of the car.
It will be sold with both petrol and diesel engines, and if the Laura is anything to go by, they will also offer the hot vRS model in India, as well.
The vRS version has been spied and we are eagerly awaiting its full unveiling – the 1.6-liter TDI will probably be one of the top sellers.
We can learn more when the actual launch takes place and right now it would be mere speculation only.
Till then stay hooked and have a look at the pictures.
