Spied: Convertible 2012 Chevrolet Camaro

by Sebastian Bivin

We were searching the corners of the internet for some stories when we landed on the territory Camaro5.com. One of the members of the forum spotted a pre-production 2012 Chevrolet Camaro testing the roads of Michigan.

The scoopster was able to speak to the driver of the 2012 Camaro who told him that the car will be hitting dealership by April next year. This was the meat of earlier announcements of General Motors.

The convertible gets a soft top which will most likely be electrically controlled. It also has that quarter window to enclose the cabin. The convertible will also use the V8 and the V6 engines like its coupe counterpart.

This Camaro convertible is also scheduled to hit the European market by spring of 2011.
