For those who are looking for a pick-up truck, they may as well take into consideration the Hilux pick-up truck from the Japanese automaker, Toyota. Yes, among all pick-up trucks available out there, this one from Toyota is considerably one of the most excellent options to go for. Speaking of the vehicle in question, there are now spy photos that depict both the front and rear ends of the vehicle, albeit only partially.
Recently uploaded onto the World Wide Web, the two spy photos reveal that the next generation Toyota Hilux will not look too much different when compared to the 2016 Tacoma, also by the Japanese automaker mentioned above. As for the latter, Toyota officially took the veil off it back at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) event that took place at Detroit, US, in January this year. However, the design has been toned down a little for the Hilux, perhaps to match its purpose as a pick-up truck.
The spy photos that are now spreading across the World Wide Web pages are actually quite trustworthy. Believe it or not, reports indicate that the couple of spy photos was actually taken at the company’s plant in Thailand. It is this plant that will reportedly produce the pick-up truck in question.
For now, there are no further details that are coming from the mouth of Ford officials. The current generation Toyota Hilux, however, comes with either a 2.5L or a 3.0L D-4D diesel engine. For the present generation Hilux with a 2.5L diesel engine, power is rated at 144 hp while the torque is rated at 343 Nm. So, it actually makes sense that the 2015 Toyota Hilux will have even a higher power and torque than what its predecessor has to offer.
